A Sudanese national from Mundri, Southern Sudan born in 1970, Ritti attended high school in Yambio, Southern Sudan and later worked for Yambio Institute of Agriculture, Dept. of Animal Husbandry. Ritti left Yambio in 1990 and fled to neighboring Central African Republic, because of the unrest between Sudan People’s liberation Movement/Army (SPLm/A) and Sudan Armed Forces (SAF),. First in Chad and later in Nigeria, Ritti became a refugee under the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) protection.
Later, Ritti attended Platue School of Accountancy and Management Studies (PSAMS) and graduated with a diploma in Banking and Finance in Jos, Nigeria.

Ritti graduated from the Kogod School of Business at American University in May 2002. After graduation he joined the Peace Corps where he was placed in Bamako, Mali where he seved as a Small Enterprise Developer (SED). But circumstances prohibited Ritti from completing his assignment.
In 2007, Ritti received his MBA in Management at Strayer University. Ritti is currently Vice President of the Southern Sudanese Voices for Freedom (SSVF), a nonprofit in Washington, D.C. As Vice President of SSVF, Ritti works with Jimmy Mulla, founder and president and Joshua White Walla, co-founder to bring awareness, ensuring peace and justice for Sudan.
